How do I share my Hunt Area with other members?

When you share your Hunt Area with at least one other HuntStand user, that Hunt Area becomes a Group Hunt Area. You can send and accept Sharing Invitations on the Sharing screen on the app. Follow the directions below to send a Sharing Invitation on the HuntStand app and the HuntStand website. HuntStand App:

1. Ensure you have a strong Wi-Fi or data connection.
2. Tap the Sharing button located at the bottom of the main screen of the app.
3. Tap Add Member (icon looks like a person's profile with a plus sign).
4. Search for the HuntStand user by name or email address.
5. Tap on the correct search result.
6. Select the Rank for this user from the available options:
   • View Only: Can view the Group Hunt Area map.
   • Member: Can add map objects, delete and edit their own map objects, and send View-Only invitations.
   • Admin: Can perform all Member actions and also send Sharing Invitations and remove users with Member and View-Only permissions.
7. Tap Share to send the invitation.
8. Sync the Hunt Area to ensure changes are updated across devices:
   • Tap the Current Hunt Area banner at the top of the screen.
   • Select the Hunt Area you want to sync.
   • Tap the Sync button (circular arrows icon).

HuntStand Website:

1. On the menu, click Manage Hunt Areas > List Hunt Areas > Share Hunt Area.
2. Search for the HuntStand user by name or email address.
3. Click the Invite button beside the correct search result.
4. You will see the user's name listed under Pending Invitations.
5. Use the drop-down menu to choose the appropriate permission level for that user (View Only, Member, Admin).
6. Sync the Hunt Area on the HuntStand app to ensure changes are updated across devices:
   • Tap the Current Hunt Area banner at the top of the screen.
   • Select the Hunt Area you want to sync.
   • Tap the Sync button (circular arrows icon).

Group Hunt Area Ranks:

• View Only: Can view the Group Hunt Area map.
• Member: Can add map objects, delete and edit their own map objects, and send View-Only invitations.
• Admin: Can perform all Member actions and also send Sharing Invitations and remove users with Member and View-Only permissions.
• Owner: The original creator of the Hunt Area, with unrestricted permissions.
