How do I add and delete photos from my Trail Camera markers?

While HuntStand does not produce trail cameras, we do provide a very helpful Trail Camera Management feature that allows you to easily map the locations of your trail cameras and upload photos to HuntStand using the SD card from your camera. You can add photos to trail camera markers on the HuntStand website, not on the app, however, you will be able to view these uploaded photos on the app. Follow the directions below to add and delete photos from your Trail Camera markers on the HuntStand website. Add Photos to Trail Camera 

1. Log in to your account on huntstand.com while using the Chrome, Safari, or Firefox browser only on a laptop or desktop computer.
2. Click TRAIL CAMERAS > + NEW CAMERA.
3. Left-click once on the location where you want to save the trail camera marker on your Hunt Area.
4. You must enter a Camera Placement Name (any name you choose) and the Placement Date. Then click ENTER.
5. Click + ADD PHOTOS > SELECT FILES. Select files from your camera's SD card or files stored on your computer to upload to that specific trail camera marker.
6. Click UPLOAD SELECTED PHOTOS > DONE.

Delete Photos from Trail Camera 

1. Log in to your account on huntstand.com while using the Chrome, Safari, or Firefox browser only on a laptop or desktop computer.
2. Click TRAIL CAMERAS.
3. You will see a list of Trail Camera markers on the left-hand side of the screen. Click EDIT beside the name of the Trail Camera marker you wish to edit (delete photos).
4. Left-click once on the photo you wish to delete. 
5. Click DELETE PHOTO (You may need to scroll down to view this button.). 

Edit Trail Camera Photo Date 

1. Visit the LIST tab on the TRAIL CAMS page on huntstand.com
2. Click the EDIT button beside the name of the trail camera marker to which you attached the photos you wish to edit.
3. Left-click once on the thumbnail image of the photo you wish to edit. 
4. Left-click once on the DATE field below PHOTO ATTRIBUTES and use the calendar to select a new date. 
5. Click the BACK button and DONE. 

Don't forget to sync your Hunt Areas! You must sync your Hunt Area in order to view these photos on the TRAIL CAMERA MANAGEMENT screen on the app. All syncing is initiated on the app. While you have a strong Wi-Fi or data connection, tap the Current Hunt Area banner at the top of the screen to view a list of your Hunt Areas. Then tap the Sync button (The button looks like circular arrows.) next to the name of the Hunt Area you'd like to sync. You may find this brief tutorial video helpful.
