How do I change the location of a Hunt Area in HuntStand?

Unfortunately, the registered location of a Hunt Area cannot be changed, and data associated with a Hunt Area cannot be transferred to another location. If you need to create a new Hunt Area at a different location, please follow the directions below: 

HuntStand Website:

• To create a new Hunt Area:
  1. Click MANAGE HUNT AREAS on the main menu.
  2. Click + NEW HUNT AREA.
  3. Left-click once on the map to drop a pin and register your Hunt Area at the desired location. This location cannot be edited once saved.
  4. You can search for locations by address and coordinates on this page.
• Please note: You can only create, delete, and share Hunt Areas on the MANAGE HUNT AREAS page. Avoid attempting to build maps directly on this screen. Deleting a Hunt Area removes all associated map objects.

HuntStand App:

• To create a new Hunt Area:
  1. Tap the Current Hunt Area banner at the top of the main screen.
  2. Click Manage Hunt Areas.
  3. Click the Add New Hunt Area button (looks like a marker with a plus sign).
  4. Tap anywhere on the map to drop a pin and register your Hunt Area at the desired location. This location cannot be edited once saved.
  5. You can search for locations by address and coordinates on this screen.
• Please note: You can only create and delete Hunt Areas on the Manage Hunt Areas screen. Avoid attempting to build maps directly on this screen. Deleting a Hunt Area removes all associated map objects.
